Tim Macrow

Statistically Tim is the most successful driver in Australian Formula 3 history. Tim Macrow initially took up the sport to follow in the footsteps of his famous father Peter Macrow and his brother Adam. After starting in state level Formula Ford, Tim’s driving ability shone as he moved up to national level Formula Ford, finishing runner-up in the 2004 Australian Formula Ford Championship to David Reynolds and winning the 2007 Australian Formula 3 Championship for the Cams Gold Star.

After a few years of racing sporadically, the 31 year old put everything on the line to race a full season in 2013.

His determination and driver ability proved again that he is one of Australia’s best open wheel drivers, winning another Australian Drivers’ Formula 3 Championship in 2013 driving a Dallara F307-Mercedes.

In 2014 Tim has decided to join the V8 Supercar Series driving the #24 Worldwide Gaming entry in the Dunlop Series.

The #24 car raced in the 2013 season under the management of Mr Nandi Kiss. The car has now been overhauled and upgraded for the 2014 season.

Tim is taking the same approach and drive to the Dunlop Series as he did with Formula 3.
